The Three Safeguards Checklist

A one-page plan to fix the vulnerabilities attackers are actually using, on the systems they can actually reach, first.

  • Know your front door: build a complete list of everything the internet can reach
  • Set a KEV trigger: make sure known-exploited flaws never wait for the monthly patch cycle
  • Patch, then check: confirm no one got in before the fix
  • Separate steps for small and mid-sized organizations and for larger ones, mapped to NIST CSF 2.0
